1. Enrolment forms must be submitted together with tuition fees either by cash or by cheque (post-dated cheque not accepted) payable to ‘Little Cosmos’.
2. A receipt will be issued as proof once tuition fees are paid. Please immediately check and make sure that the details printed on the receipts are accurateand come for class accordingly. Little Cosmos (“the Center”) will not issue any reminder.
3. Applicants should show their receipts at the first class and keep them until completion of their courses for any dispute over tuition fees or related matters.
4. If applicants wish to withdraw from classes after enrolment, tuition fees paid will not be returned.
5. If applicants wish to change to another time slot for class, an administration fee of HK$30 will be charged.
6. Applicants can change to another class or course only when such changes do not affect the arrangement of the classes involved. If applicants wish to change to another course after enrolment, an administration fee of HK$50 will be charged.
7. If a course is cancelled because of under-enrolment (less than half of the maximum class size), applicants will receive a full refund within a month.
8. The Centre reserves the rights to cancel any arranged class if the continuing students are less than half of the maximum class size. The Center will inform the affected students one month in advance for such a cancellation.
9. If a course has to be changed to a time different from the one originally stated and that the applicant does not agree with the new arrangement, applicants will receive a full or proportional refund within a month.
10. In case of refund, the Centre will inform applicants of the new arrangements by phone or by writing. If the participant is below the age of 18, the refund procedure shall be done by a parent or a guardian.
11. When a requested class is already full applicants will be put on a waiting list. Priority will be given to the Centre’s current students and their siblings.
12. The Centre reserves the right to re-arrange the content or choice of tutor in any given course without further notice.
13. The Centre reserves the right to change the time table with prior notice to parents of enrolled participants.
14. If a tutor is on leave, the Centre shall arrange a substitute without further notice.
15. The Centre will make visual or video records of classes and works by participants for promotional purposes.
16. The Centre will not be responsible for any participants’ personal belongings, parents should not allow their children to bring expensive items to the Centre.
17. The Centre will not shoulder any participants’ accidents occurred during class time or in the Centre.
18. Participants or their caregivers are not allowed to eat in the Centre. Please advise us of any food allergies your children may have as the Centre may occasionally prepare drink or snacks in the programmes.
19. In case of serious accidents where immediate medical care is required but parents cannot be contacted for immediate instruction, the Centre will call an ambulance and send the student concerned to hospital.

Policy on Leave-taking and Make-up Classes

1. If applicants wish to take sick leave, please inform the Centre before the class start and submit a registered doctor’s certificate consultedwithin 7 days. One make-up class will be arranged whenever possible.
2. If applicants wish to take personal leave, please inform the Centre by phone or in person at least 7 days prior to the leave. One make-up class will be arranged whenever possible.
3. The Centre will not arrange any make-up class if applicants do not follow the abovementioned leave-taking procedures. No refund or fee retaining for future course will be allowed.
4. If a make-up class is not possible, applicant can make-up a class of another course of the same price or below. The applicant will need to pay the difference if the price of the chosen course is higher. For those students who cannot attend any make-up class, no refund or fee retaining for future course use is allowed. All make-up class shall be arranged and finished before 31st August of that school term.

Class Arrangement during Severe Weather

Typhoon / Rainstorm Signal:

1. When Typhoon Signal No. 3 or less is hoisted, all classes will run as normal.
2. When the Amber or Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, all classes will run as normal.
3. When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher OR the Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, classes that have not yet begun will be cancelled immediately.
4. When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher OR the Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted whilst classes are in progress, those classes will continue until normal class finish time but parents may come to collect their child at any time as required.
5. When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher OR the Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered three hours before classes start, classes will remain as normal. e.g. If such signal is removed at 12:00n.n., and a class starts at 3:00p.m. or later it will remain unchanged.
6. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher OR the Black Rainstorm Signal is in force at 1:00p.m., classes after 1:00 p.m. will be cancelled.

For classes cancelled due to severe weather conditions, no refund or make-up classes will be arranged.
